Shrimp Tapas
The word “Tapas” means appetizers in Spanish cuisine and is normally served in the bars. This is a very quick, popular Spanish tapas dish made with raw shrimps, olive oil, butter, garlic, alcohol (optional), parsley and served with bread. Great party favorites. Hope you enjoyed it!
TIP: When using raw sea food, always apply salt to it before cooking and keep aside.

Ingredients

| 240 gm raw tiger shrimps | |
| 1/4 cup olive oil | |
| 2 tbsp butter | |
| 6-8 finely chopped garlic cloves | |
| 1 chopped sweet red pepper (optional) | |
| salt, black pepper and red pepper flakes to taste | |
| 2 tbsp lemon juice and 2 tbsp Gin (optional) | |
| 1/2 finely chopped parsley – some for garnish | |
| slices of French bread |
Directions
1.
Peel, wash, and add salt to the shrimps.
Mark as complete

Heat the oil, add butter, garlic, and stir-fry for 3 minutes.

Add chopped red peppers, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes to taste.
Mark as complete

Add the shrimps and cook until pink, approximately a minute on each side.
Mark as complete

Add the lemon juice or Gin, parsley and stir-fry for a minute.
Mark as complete

Garnish with parsley and serve hot with bread.
