Garlic Butter Baked Shrimps

For all shrimp lovers! You must make these easy, tasty baked shrimps.  It is Heaven in a skillet, with just a few of your favorite ingredients – shrimp, butter, garlic, herbs, and cheese. Enjoy!

Ingredients

Adjust Servings
2 escargot skillet plates
12 raw, medium, peeled shrimps
Salt & pepper to taste
1 cup room temperature salted butter
6-8 finely grated garlic cloves
2-3 chopped green chilies or ½ tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp grated lemon zest
½ cup finely chopped cilantro or parsley
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Slices of French bread

Directions

1.

Garlic butter - in a bowl add the butter, garlic, green chilies, lemon zest, cilantro, parmesan cheese and whisk well.

Season the shrimps with salt and pepper.

To assemble - add 1 tsp butter in each hole of the escargot plate, immerse the shrimp in the butter, and apply ½ tsp butter on the shrimps. Fill the 6 holes in each of the 2 plates.

Pre-heat oven to 450 °F.

Garnish with mozzarella cheese and place the plates on a baking tray.

Broil in the oven until the shrimps are pink and the cheese is bubbly and golden - about 12 minutes.

Serve hot with bread and a glass of wine.

TIP: Always use raw shrimps and do not overcook.
